During a lighthearted game posted by the Kansas City Chiefs’ official account, Mahomes was asked to choose between some of basketball’s most dominant players. When asked to pick between Shaquille O’Neal and Dirk Nowitzki, the two-time MVP quickly leaned toward Shaq.
But when the final matchup came down to LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan, Mahomes froze.
When pressed on the question, Mahomes simply said, “No comment.”
The brief exchange highlighted how Mahomes cleverly sidestepped the question, knowing there’s no winning answer when it comes to basketball’s greatest of all time.
Why Mahomes Played It Safe
The Chiefs quarterback has often praised NBA stars and is known to be a Dallas Mavericks fan, frequently showing admiration for Dirk Nowitzki’s leadership and work ethic. But when it comes to LeBron and Jordan, he wasn’t about to pick sides between two global icons.
